Seven workers at Harrah’s in Laughlin have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement from resort operator Caesars Entertainment.

It was not clear when the employees were diagnosed, only that they have tested positive since the resort reopened in early June.

Proper COVID-19 health and safety protocols were followed in each case, according to the statement.

Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered casinos statewide closed in mid-March to help curb the spread of the coronavirus. They were allowed to start reopening on June 4.
