A Henderson Police officer is facing a DUI count following an apparent crash Friday.
Police said Luis Amezcua, 25, was cited for the misdemeanor charge and not jailed because the incident sent him to the hospital.
The three-year veteran was placed on paid suspension while the incident remains under investigation, said police, who did not release additional details.
