2 more coronavirus deaths are reported in Clark County

Two more people with coronavirus disease have died in Clark County, bringing the total number of virus-related deaths in Nevada to six, according to the Southern Nevada Health District.

The recent deaths include a man in his 70s with underlying medical conditions and a woman in her 50s, also with underlying conditions.

Officials say there are 249 cases of coronavirus in Clark County, including the six deceased. All six had underlying medical conditions. Statewide, 278 residents are infected.

Of the 249 local cases, 65 patients are hospitalized, the Health District reports.

The state Department of Health and Human Services says 4,323 Nevadans have been tested, producing 3,954 negative results.
