One person was taken to a hospital after a fire today at a home in the east valley, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
The fire was reported about 12:40 p.m. in the 3600 block of Florrie Avenue, near Boulder Highway and Twain Avenue, officials said.
The garage of the home was engulfed in flames, and the blaze had extended into the attic, officials said. Firefighters searched the home, and one person was transported to a hospital, officials said. No information was provided about the person or their condition.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation, and a damage estimate was not yet available, officials said.
The fire displaced three adults and two children, officials said.
