Remember, during the 2016 presidential campaign, when Donald Trump admitted that he and his related organizations had filed for six bankruptcies? And did so not by apologizing to his creditors but extolling his legal right to seek bankruptcy protection?
The novelist Paulo Coelho said, “You can spend your entire life blaming the world, but your successes or failures are entirely your own responsibility.”
Now, as the coronavirus pandemic has taken more than 90,000 American lives and pushed this nation closer to an economic abyss, Trump continues to act irresponsibly, not just by failing to admit his failures in handling the pandemic but by blaming, among others China, the World Health Organization, former President Barack Obama and now the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The painful truth is that because of Trump’s failures, this nation is on a fast track toward mortality and bankruptcy. The only way to stop this carnage is to vote this abysmal failure out of office.
