Gov. Steve Sisolak will be tested for coronavirus after he visited a workplace where an employee tested positive for COVID-19, his office announced today.
The governor has shown no symptoms of the virus and is scheduled to be tested Wednesday, officials said.
Last week, Sisolak visited a workplace where an employee has since tested positive for COVID-19, the governor’s office said.
The employee was not at work when the governor visited, officials said.
The governor’s office learned of the employee's positive test result today, officials said.
Sisolak canceled a news conference scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today to discuss the next phase of opening the state’s economy and will instead release a prerecorded video, officials said.
