Leftist commentators have things backwards, as they still don’t understand what happened in this year’s elections. For the past four years, Democrats have refused to compromise on nearly everything President Donald Trump tried to do, and embraced the word “resist” as their national motto. While the nation narrowly rejected Trump, it wasn’t for his policies but for his behavior.
Joe Biden has no mandate, and the bigger message voters sent was a rejection of Democrats’ socialist agenda, as shown in their loss of House seats and most likely leaving the Senate in GOP hands. If Democrats want to win over the 73 million people who voted for Trump, it’s on them to compromise. Biden didn’t win the election; Trump simply lost.
