Trump needs a civics lesson

President Donald Trump showed the world what a buffoon he is by spreading misinformation, falsely asserting that he has won reelection, filing frivolous lawsuits to stop counting votes and claiming voter fraud. Democrats and a few courageous Republicans have condemned his actions as threatening our democracy.

Trump’s “bone spurs” must have prevented him from attending government and civics classes in college.

He thinks his three appointments to the Supreme Court will loyally come to his aid to throw the election in his favor. Trump does not understand that the Supreme Court’s loyalty must rest with the interpretation of the Constitution, not succumbing to his hissy fits. If he paid attention in government class, he would already know this.

Who knew what an asset President-elect Joe Biden’s 47 years in Washington would be? Rational people knew.
