A victim was killed and four others were wounded for no apparent motive in a drive-by shooting in Henderson early Thursday, according to city police.

The two suspects, who were subsequently taken into custody in Arizona, drove around the city indiscriminately shooting, Henderson Police said. Additional residents reported being shot at different locations throughout the city.

The slaying was reported shortly after 1 a.m. to the 800 block of East Lake Mead Parkway, located in a commercial area south of Sunset Road.

Officers and medics arrived there to find a 22-year-old man dead, and four others — a woman and three men — suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

They were hospitalized but expected to recover, police said.

Police described the suspects as a white, bearded man in his 20s, and a white woman with the same approximate age. “Both suspects were described as having tattoos or paint on their faces.”

Henderson Police did not name the suspects. Additional details on their arrests or how they were identified were not provided.
