One person was stabbed to death and two others wounded during an altercation Sunday night in downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.
The incident was reported about 10:35 p.m. near 9th Street and Bonneville Avenue, police said.
Officers found three people suffering from stab wounds, police said. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other two were transported to University Medical Center, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased victim. The conditions of the surviving victims was not released.
According to police, the victims were involved in an altercation with an unidentified man when the suspect stabbed all three of them and fled on foot.
