Two on-duty city marshals riding motorcycles were involved in a multivehicle crash this morning in the central valley, according to Metro Police.

The marshals and one other person were taken to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

The wreck, which also involved a Jeep and a car, happened about 9:20 a.m. near Palomino Lane and Rancho Drive, police said.

No additional details were released. Police advised motorists to avoid the area.

In Las Vegas, marshals provide public safety services at city parks and facilities, as well as animal control services.
