A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash with a car in a North Las Vegas intersection, city police said.
The woman was riding a black Honda Shadow south on Pecos Road and crashed with a car headed in the opposite direction that was turning onto Lake Mead Boulevard, police said.
First responders were summoned about 2 p.m., and the victim died at University Medical Center shortly after arriving, police said.
Investigators were trying to determine if speed or impairment contributed to the crash, police said.
