The original Naked City Pizza location has closed, according to a social media post by the owners.

In a statement posted Thursday on Facebook, Naked City co-owner Christopher Palmeri said the location inside Moon Doggie’s Bar, near Arville Street and West Desert Inn Road, has closed.

“This is not a post I had hoped to ever make,” Palmeri said. “I could drag this out into an essay-long post, but I’d rather just say…this sucks, this pandemic sucks.”

The pizza spot had been in business for over a decade.

Palmeri said Naked City’s other two Las Vegas Valley locations — 4608 Paradise Road and inside the Blue Diamond Saloon, 6935 Blue Diamond Road — will remain open.

Palmeri, who owns the local pizza chain with his brother, Michael Palmeri, said “long-term” leases have been secured for the remaining locations.

“Myself, my brother Michael and our staff could not be more appreciative to the guests, friends and family that have supported us in that original location,” Palmeri said in the post.
