A new Farm Basket location is set to come to the east Las Vegas Valley.

Construction on a building that would house the restaurant is set to start early next year at the Winterwood Pavilion development, near Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard, according to a news release.

Long a staple in Las Vegas for its fried chicken and turkey offerings, Farm Basket has been in the valley for about four decades.

The restaurant’s lone location is at 6148 W. Charleston Boulevard, near Rainbow Boulevard, although there have been several around the valley over the years.

In 2018, Farm Basket was purchased by valley local Billy Bayne and his family.

“Expanding to the east side of Las Vegas is an important next step for us,” Bayne said in the release. “The established neighborhoods around Winterwood are filled with customers who have grown up with the Farm Basket menu.”

At Winterwood, the plan is for Farm Basket to share a new free-standing building just to the east of Carl’s Jr.

Farm Basket’s owners will sign a 10-year lease for the space with Winterwood’s owners, Dapper Companies, according to the release.
