A man is accused of fatally stabbing his roommate as the result of an ongoing dispute, according to Metro Police.
A person called 911 about 9:30 p.m. Monday to report a slaying at an apartment in the 3800 block of Mountain Vista Drive, police said.
Officers looked through a window and saw a man on the floor, police said.
They started to talk to another man in the apartment, Christian Yates, 30, and convinced him to come out, police said.
Yates was arrested and taken to the Clark County Detention Center, where he was booked on a count of open murder, police said.
Police did not detail the dispute they said led to the stabbing.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name.
