Metro Police are searching for a man they say robbed a southeast Las Vegas store last month and hit a clerk with a gun.
The robbery occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on Aug. 16 in the 3000 block of East Sunset Road, near Eastern Avenue, police said.
The man forced a clerk to hand over cash and “struck the victim with the firearm to facilitate his escape,” police said in a news release.
Police described the suspect as in in his mid- to late 30s and about 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall.
He wore a red striped shirt with blue jeans and a brown baseball cap, police said.
