LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Replacement for RBG can wait

Wed, Sep 30, 2020 (2 a.m.)

Sen. Mitt Romney and Mike Lee of Utah, along with all U.S. senators, can do something to honor Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s service to the world. They can grant her last wish — “not (to) be replaced until a new president is installed.”

I’m hoping the Senate waits for the American people to choose a new president, who in return will nominate a new justice. I’m hoping it doesn’t allow Mitch McConnell, a single, power-hungry person, to ignore the wishes of the people.

The Senate has already kept Trump’s insanity in the world by not removing him from office after his impeachment. Certainly, it can see he is not up to the job, in addition to being a proven liar and immoral man. America deserves better.
