I am planning a protest with my senior friends. For the past 39 years, the Easter Bunny has skipped over us. I got nary a basket, an egg, a chocolate bunny or a single jellybean. Before that, I distinctly recall being forced to pilfer sweets from my kids on Easter and Halloween. This is clearly age discrimination.
Maybe I should not complain after reading recent news — at least I wasn’t one of the people who got fleeced so badly by the Trump campaign. It tricked ordinary supporters and donors into recurring donations when they believed they were making a one-time gift. Over $122 million has been refunded, reportedly. Double that amount was probably missed. Did Donald Trump know? Or is the question: When did he know? Or is the most significant point that he surrounded himself with crooks, corruption, fraudsters and grifters?
