A motorist was pronounced dead today after a crash that appears to have been the result of a medical episode, Metro Police said.
A vehicle crashed into a light pole about 7:30 a.m. today at Flamingo Road and Durango Drive, police said. The driver was taken to Southern Hills Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, according to police.
The intersection was closed, and motorists were advised to avoid the area. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
