A motorist was fatally wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon in a neighborhood near Rancho and Vegas drives, according to Metro Police.
The man, who was driving when he was shot on East Lane, crashed into a wall in the 1600 block of the street, police said.
Officers responded to the crash shortly before 5 p.m. and found the gravely wounded man, who died there, police said.
“At this time, a suspect or a motive are unknown,” said police in a news release, noting that the investigation continued.
