Moapa Valley passes its way to win at Eldorado

Moapa Valley’s Peyton Neilson threw five touchdown passes to four different receivers in the Pirates’ 48-12 win at Eldorado to open the season.

“Offensively, we were pretty balanced. We were able to spread it around quite a bit,” Moapa Valley coach Brent Lewis said.

Dustin Gordon led the way with two scoring receptions, while Austin Heiselbetz, Gunner Redd and CJ Anderson also scored. Landon Wrzesinski led the ground attack with 60 yards on five carries.
