Anthony Otis had two rushing touchdowns and a few crucial pass breakups on defense to help Spring Valley beat Cimarron-Memorial, 25-0.

The Grizzlies defense has surrendered just nine points — and no touchdowns — in two weeks.

“The kids are really getting after it. That’s cool to see,” Spring Valley coach Marcus Teal said.

That’s especially true for Kelze Howard, who had three tackles for a loss and two sacks. “The kid was really something,” Teal said.

Jalen Humphrey and Jaden Linzie had rushing touchdowns for Spring Valley, and center/linebacker Carlos Reza never came off the field.

“He plays every down — the heart and soul of our team,” Teal said.
