A Las Vegas man has pleaded guilty to a felony charge of voting twice in the same election, Attorney General Aaron Ford announced today.

Craig Frank, 53, initially voted in the 2016 general election in Benton, Ark., before voting again in Clark County, according to an indictment. Voting records list him as a registered Republican.

“While voter fraud is rare, it undercuts trust in our election system and will not be tolerated by my office,” Ford said in a statement. “My office is glad to see Mr. Frank plead guilty and take responsibility for his actions.”

Frank will be sentenced June 16 in Clark County District Court. He faces up to four years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
