Recently, former President Donald Trump told his supporters that their movement “has only just begun,” and he mentioned a continuing journey with them to achieve American greatness for all of our people.
Let’s see where Trump has brought us so far — life in America without the truth during his presidency. As proof, let’s not forget:
• His birther conspiracy propelled him onto the presidential stage, where he won by spewing lies whenever he could.
• The Mueller investigation, which featured more lies from him and the refusal to cooperate, ended with him falsely claiming exoneration.
• A pandemic he lied about has resulted in more than 500,000 American deaths.
• Two impeachment trials had overwhelming evidence of his guilt, but his Senate allies voted to acquit him.
• Between his two impeachments, he fomented the murderous insurrection at the U.S. Capitol resulting from his big lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.
Americans do not need any more of Trump’s new beginnings again with their misdeeds and negative impacts on us.
