Repairs are needed to the Capitol, and those activated for duty have to be paid. Those responsible must be financially held to account. The mob was directly responsible for the damage but President Donald Trump was directly responsible for sending the mob there. That makes him indirectly responsible for all the costs incurred and to be incurred.
Trump has told us about his great wealth and therefore should have enough to pay the costs. And this time, he is not a corporation that can file bankruptcy and go away. I would suggest that those seeking financial reimbursement ask for at least $2 billion.
All that matters to Trump seems to be his ego and his money. Let’s take both away.
