Las Vegas never needed to be at full capacity to offer a weekend full of magical music. Just take a look at some of the live entertainment offerings on the way, kicking off with a big comedy show on the Strip.

SEBASTIAN MANISCALCO You may have seen this comedy Wildman in critically acclaimed flicks “The Irishman” or “The Green Book,” and while he couldn’t tour last year, he did pop up a few times for private outdoor shows at Wynn. Now that he’s all fired up to be back on the road again, Sebastian Maniscalco’s first stop is Encore Theater at Wynn for four weekend shows. June 18-19, wynnlasvegas.com.

BUCKY HEARD The other half of the Righteous Brothers has been steady gigging around town while he waits to rejoin with Bill Medley for the duo’s musical residency at Harrah’s Las Vegas. On Friday and Saturday night at 10 p.m., you can see and hear Heard do his thing with no cover at the Bootlegger Bistro, complemented by the incredible guitarist John Wedemeyer. MICHELLE JOHNSON If you caught her singing the music of Marvin Gaye at the most recent Mondays Dark show, just wait until you hear her cover the Beatles with two more shows at the Vegas Room Friday and Saturday. It only takes a few notes to understand why Michelle Johnson is a Las Vegas treasure. June 18-19, thevegasroom.com.

PAVLO Canadian-Greek guitar sensation Pavlo returns to the Space this weekend, this time performing a live Mediterranean music spectacular that will be broadcast on PBS stations across the country. June 19, thespacelv.com.

ZOWIE BOWIE The long-running, amazingly energetic lounge and showroom favorite has resumed performances at the Fremont Street Experience but Zowie Bowie is in the books for a special Father’s Day dinner show at the Italian American Club this weekend. Catch singers Chris Phillips and Jamie Lynch and their electric band and dancers at their best Sunday. June 20, iacvegas.com.
