A head-on crash killed three people this afternoon on southbound U.S. 95, about 150 miles northwest of Las Vegas, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred about 4 p.m. near Scotty's Junction, patrol logs show.
Traffic remained closed in both directions about 6:30 p.m., the patrol said.
