If you want a post-spring break COVID-19 test, consider getting one at Allegiant Stadium next week.

The Raiders’ home venue will host drive-through testing from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on April 7, the Southern Nevada Health District announced today.

Lot H is located off Dean Martin Drive via Gate 10. Pre-register here.

The  Health District suggested the drive-through clinic as an opportunity for the entire family to get tested if they traveled for spring break, even though the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still recommends against non-essential travel.

The CDC recommends people get tested three to five days after returning from a travel destination and that if they are able, should also self-quarantine for seven days even if they test negative. People who don’t get tested upon returning home should self-quarantine for 10 days after travel, the CDC says.

The testing blitz comes two days after the state is set to open COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to everyone 16 and older.

According to the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, as of Monday, 25.3% of Clark County residents — and 32.1% of county residents 16 and older — have had at least one shot. That’s on par with the statewide coverage of 24.96% of all Nevadans and 31.4% of people 16 and up being at least partially vaccinated.
