Chris Avila had two touchdown runs tonight for the Coronado football team in a 46-6 win against Spring Valley to cap a wild week.

The Cougars spent part of the week practicing on the school’s softball field because the football field’s lights weren’t functioning and the soccer team had home games on the field during the afternoon.

“It was one of those funky weeks,” Coronado coach Fred Biletnikoff Jr. said.

Keona Espinoza and Mohammad Maali also scored for Coronado.
