The Arbor View and Canyon Springs football teams played a scoreless first half on Friday.

Arbor View’s Richard Washington made sure it didn’t stay that way in scoring four second-half touchdowns in a 35-7 victory, including one on a 45-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Holmes.

Washington carried the ball seven times for 145 yards and three touchdowns, and Holmes contributed a rushing score.

“It’s good to know we can turn it on in the second half because our starts have been pretty bad in the past few games,” Arbor View coach Matt Gerber said.

D’Andre Washington added four catches for 78 yards, David Washington had two grabs for 48 yards and Makhai Donaldson record 53 rushing yards.
