Justin Hydel had a pair of receiving touchdowns from Nelson Jimenez today for the Chaparral High football team in a 21-6 victory over host Cheyenne.
Michael Diggs added a touchdown run for the Cowboys, and linebackers Christopher Leafdale and Myson Dyess led the team in tackles. Chaparral opens the playoffs next week at Basic.
“We are feeling good. We just have to take better care of the ball,” coach Don Willis said. “We had too many turnovers.”
