Jordan Pollard had a short touchdown run tonight for the Faith Lutheran High football team, but it wasn’t enough in a hard-fought 21-11 loss to visiting Columbine of Colorado.

The teams were evenly matched most of the night — Faith Lutheran recorded 267 yards of total offense; Columbine put up 252 yards. But Faith Lutheran suffered a pair of turnovers and scored just three points in the first half, on a Caden Chittenden field goal.

Drais Bellamy carried the ball 14 times for 69 yards and Jaden Turner hauled in three passes for 66 yards to lead the Faith Lutheran offense.

Columbine only passed the ball four times, and completed all four attempts. Seth Cromwell had 129 rushing yards and two touchdowns to lead the visitors.
