Liberty puts emphasis on rushing game, rolls past Faith Lutheran

Germie Bernard had a 4-yard touchdown reception and a 62-yard punt return for a score to help Liberty beat visiting Faith Lutheran 37-7 on Friday.

Colin Gregorio completed 13-of-19 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns, including scoring strikes to Landon Bell and Logann Britt.

“I loved the way we played tonight,” coach Rich Muraco said. “Colin did a good job of managing the game, and we put an emphasis on running the ball.

Brody Clark led the way with 131 rushing yards and a 44-yard touchdown run.
