Because of a power outage, motorists could not get gas for several hours today along Interstate 15 between Apex and Beaver Dam, Ariz.
The power outage, just north of Las Vegas, impacted Moapa Valley, Logandale, Overton, Bunkerville and Mesquite, Clark County spokesman Erik Pappa said in a statement about 9:30 a.m. today.
Pappa announced about 2:15 p.m. that power had been restored.
While the power was out, the the last place to get gas for drivers headed north on I-15 out of Las Vegas was Love’s Travel Stop at U.S. 93, Pappa said.
