It is disheartening to hear the media announce that Brittney Griner has been traded for a Russian criminal and then go on to denounce the negotiators for not getting more out of the trade.
Why can’t people just rejoice that we were able to bring Griner home and then get behind the effort to bring others home? Pointing fingers just encourages the other side and makes future efforts more difficult.
