A man was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound Monday night in a neighborhood south of the Las Vegas Strip, Metro Police said.
Officers responded about 10:55 p.m. to a report of an unresponsive man on the ground in the 7500 block of Placid Street, police said. The area is just southeast of Las Vegas Boulevard and Warm Springs Road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name, as well as the cause and manner of death, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
