Former President Donald Trump will presumably become a historic bad memory after the dust settles from the House’s Jan. 6 investigation.
One may wonder whether the political movement of Trumpism will survive when Trump eventually fades from the nation’s view. The answer to that question is that the world still faces neo-Nazis spreading their lies and hatred after Hitler and fascism were defeated by our parents and grandparents, so one has to think that others will quickly take up the mantle to continue spreading misinformation, fear and division once Trump is no longer on the scene.
The only question remaining is who that will be, and whether the American people wise up to the continuing danger to our nation.
