Metro Police say they detained a person after a shooting this morning at an apartment complex in the northwest valley.
The shooting was reported about 11 a.m. in the 6600 block of Silverstream Avenue, police said. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The man was taken to University Medical Center in unknown condition, police said.
A person of interest was detained, police said.
The investigation was ongoing, police said, and no additional information was released.
