A suspect has been arrested more than a month after his neighbor was killed in a possible altercation over parking on the east side of Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.

Robert Salone, 40, was taken into custody today and charged in the Tipper Avenue shooting.

An investigation into the Oct. 18 shooting indicated the 34-year-old victim and his neighbor had been in a verbal dispute over parking, when the neighbor produced a firearm and shot him, police said. The suspect then fled the area.

Salone has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder with a deadly weapon, police said.
