Las Vegas woman dies from crash injuries

A Las Vegas woman critically injured more than a week ago in a traffic crash has died from her injuries, according to Metro Police.

Kay Loyal, 53, was taken to University Medical Center the morning of Nov. 18 after she ran a stop sign at Marion Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard and collided with a semitractor-trailer, police said.

The 25-year-old driver of the semitruck was not hurt, remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment, police said.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.
