David Washington had four receptions for 114 yards and three touchdowns tonight for Arbor View's football team in a 48-6 victory against Legacy in the Battle for the Bulls rivalry.
The Aggies only ran 11 plays in the first half, but still scored 42 points in extending their domination of Legacy. Legacy last won the rivalry game in 2012.
Arbor View quarterback Michael Kearns completed 8 of 8 passes for 204 yards and five touchdowns, including scoring strikes to Amari Derby and Michael Vazquez.
Freshman Jayden Williams tallied a 63-yard touchdown reception from Alonzo Balderrama, and Tanner Aitken had a 40-yard fumble return for a touchdown to pace the defense.
Arbor View plays Canyon Springs on Thursday in the regular season finale.
“You want to be playing good (at this stage of the season), and it seems we are heading in that direction,” Arbor View coach Matt Gerber said.
