The Shadow Ridge football team got to experience a small slice of college football tonight.

The Mustangs beat Shadow Ridge of Surprise, Ariz., 43-24 in a showcase game at Northern Arizona University.

The evening included warming up on the field, players hearing their name called by an announcer in the press box, and plenty of memories. The stadium is indoors.

“A lot of our kids believe they can play college football,” Shadow Ridge coach Travis Foster said. “They got to see what that would feel like tonight.”

Rushing touchdowns were scored by Davison Glenn, JaQuieze Holland and Jon Wilson, and quarterback Coen Coloma rushed for more than 100 yards.

“All four of those kids ran hard,” Foster said. “It was a good team win.”
