Ethan Stankosky’s 35-yard touchdown run was all the Moapa Valley football team needed tonight to defeat Pahrump Valley, 7-6.
Pahurmp had two possessions in the final four minutes, but couldn’t muster any points as Moapa Valley remained undefeated on the season.
“It was a defensive battle. We couldn’t seem to get anything going (on offense),” Moapa Valley coach Brent Lewis said.
Stankosky scored in the second quarter to give Moapa Valley the lead for good. Pahrump scored in the third quarter, but it’s 2-point conversion run was stuffed to preserve the Moapa Valley lead.
