JaQuieze Holland rushed for 275 yards and three touchdowns tonight for the Shadow Ridge football team in a 45-38 victory against host Foothill.

Shadow Ridge improves to 4-1 on the season heading into conference play next week, a significant feat for the 4A state runners-up from last season considering the nonleague schedule included three games against class 5A opponents and a road game in Flagstaff, Ariz.

“We wanted to make sure we challenged ourselves, and we came out of it 4-1,” coach Travis Foster said.

Coen Coloma rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, and Jon Wilson had five carries for 78 yards and two scores.
