Lahela Kaiwi-Brewer
A suspect has been arrested in the Friday shooting of a woman in the east valley, according to Metro Police.
Lahela Kaiwi-Brewer, 27, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder following an investigation by Metro Police.
Officers responded to the 4400 block of Dennis Way about 7:20 a.m. to find a woman suffering from a gunshot wound in the driveway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Kaiwi-Brewer was arguing with the victim outside the residence before she went inside, retrieved a handgun and shot the woman.
