The Eldorado football team’s defense deserves credit for this win.

The Sun Devils recorded a shutout Friday in a 21-0 victory against Clark — and did so playing defense virtually all of the second half. Eldorado coach Darryl Tootle said his team ran just three offensive plays in the second half.

“I’m telling you, we have a resilient bunch — especially on that defense,” the coach said.

Jaeshawn West had two short touchdown runs for Eldorado, and Jamare Lynch had an interception return for a touchdown in the second half to clinch the win.

Xavier Delgado had about 100 receiving yards from quarterback Jerome Kalama.
