Metro Police is investigating a shooting that happened near the Strip Friday afternoon, a police report states.
Police responded to the 300 block of East Karen Avenue at about 1:15 p.m. to a report of a shooting.
Officers found one person injured from a gunshot wound at the scene. The person was transported to UMC trauma.
