One person was wounded and multiple people were detained after a shooting northwest of downtown Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.
The incident was reported about 11:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard, near Martin Luther King Boulevard, police said.
One person was taken to University Medical with an apparent gunshot wound, police said. No information was released on their condition.
Police said the investigation was ongoing and advised people to avoid the area.
