The Canyon Springs football team had two defensive touchdowns today in the fourth quarter against Chaparral in a 21-13 victory to remain undefeated.
Carlos Reyes and Christopher Catarino had fumble returns for a touchdown to extend the Pioneers winning streak. They forced five turnovers.
“It was ugly, but it is a win. You are always happy with a win,” Canyon Springs coach Quincy Burts said. “There are always things to correct, but we found a way to remain undefeated.”
