Fire crews responded to a fire by railroad tracks near the Las Vegas Strip at about 5:30 p.m., according to a news release by Clark County.

Firefighters arrived a few minutes after the emergency call at 4445 Harmon Cove Court, next to rail tracks.

A large trail of smoke could be seen coming from the area from across the valley, and several Twitter users had posted video of smoke coming from the vicinity of the Strip.

The release stated that the smoke was the most impressive part of the incident in an otherwise basic outdoor fire.

A total of six engines responded to the fire, which was ruled unintentional with no damage to the railroad infrastructure, the release stated.
